Some Advice

I have a friend who has a Runner Duck that is setting on a nest...she says I have to take some of the ducklings..now I have wanted some runner ducks...but ducklings this time of year?

Ducks grow really fast and mature quicker than chickens. They would probably be well feathered by the time it get cold.

Melva in 2 months they will be ready to go outside with shelter at night and cold rainy days. I have been raising ducks for 5 yrs now. I don't give them heat but they have a roof over their head in the Aviary and I cover the north & east wall completely and less than 1/2 the NWest wall. Make sure they have a clean kiddie pool all winter to keep their feathers in good repair for weather proofing
