Several months back I purchased 5,000 European night crawlers. I split the shipment into two lots and placed one in a tub in the garage with peat moss media and the other in a bed outside with composted cow manure/straw. The indoor bin wasn't doing well so I transferred the remains to the outdoor bed. I have been adding Canadian night crawlers to the outside bed as well. Yesterday when I dug a hole to add some garden spoils to the outside bed, the bed was full of worms. I can't tell which is which at this point, but I have lots of worms of various sizes. Some of the samaller ones may even be red wigglers.
In several recent postings people have asked the question, "How do you identify worms?". That's one I'd like to know myself, since I can't tell the difference at this point.
