Thank you so much Resin. My bird book said it was an uncommonly sighted bird so I wasn't sure of the ID.

Thanks Burd I am just learning about birds and shooting them. It's a whole new ball game. It's fun though.

Wow, that's a beautiful little bird! I hope you will consider uploading your great photo to DG's Bird Files:

I added a zipcode to the file but there is already several great pictures of this little bird.

The more photos the better....and yours is outstanding!! Very clear & crisp!

I agree with nanny_56! Some listings in Bird Files have many, many pictures. Your above photo is really good and would be an asset to the site for others trying to identify this particular warbler.

OK I just didn't want to add it just to add a picture. If it will help Identify that's good. Thank you ladies.

Its a very rewarding hobby...not only did you see a Wilson's Warbler you got to take it home with you on camera!, and you get fresh air and exercise.
As you go along you will remember and collect information and will start to know where to find the birds and when they will be there. A field guide is a very helpful tool also. This Id forum will help you also with info that does not always come with a field guide. Good Luck and of course have a blast!
