Has anyone ever used ferti-lome Tree & Shrub Systemic Insect Drench ? I'm afraid to use new products and I can't find people giving opinions on the internet. I like to hear the pros and con, mostly what not to use it on.

All bugs that eat any part of all plants.
Last year I found out about the soil mite. That's probably the biggest winter problem I have. By the end of the year, come spring, any plant that hasn't died is on it last legs.
Nematodes are a problem too but I'm working on bringing the plants in for the winter. You don't have nematodes. The fungus gnats, too, but pyrethrin seems to be taking care of that. And watering less.

I found a maple with a 4 inch thick trunk that has been weed whacked for years.
It has 2 branches and is on the corner of a stone wall begging to be removed.
You have inspired me to ask for it.

Thanks, I wish I could say I did that. I can say that I haven't killed it yet. I can show you my crappy ones that I did, that's more inspiration. But being a newby is my excuse.
