Not quite as funny as a Show Girl though.

I hope when I die I get to go to a chicken heaven where I can have all the chickens I want. Ahh, that would be nice.

I am going to have some showgirls next year when one of my silkies goes broody I will order off ebay and hopefully there will be some when she goes broody.I love that naked neck thing

Oh he is cute. Easy to see why you wanted to take him home.

Bridgewater, ME

I wanted to put him in the outside pen today so he could see the silkies and them him so they can get used to one another but its to cold and windy.Maybe tomoroThis is a rooster right? So I`m thinking next spring if he breeds with a silkie the ones with the frizzle will be called sizzles right?I know he`s not a pound so I`m hoping he can go in with the silkies before winter.

Yes, I had to look it up, but that is right. Breed a frizzle to a silkie and get a sizzle. That's funny.

It said a frizzle usually refers to a cochin with frizzled feathers.

Biggs, KY(Zone 6a)

Looks like he went to bed with his feathers wet. LOL

Ferndale, WA

No getting around it, that is one cute bird. How old is he? So his off spring will be sizzles with frizzles. Pretty funny...Hay

Frizzle went into the big girl coop today, hes been in there but in his own pen,I tried to put him with the silkies but he was to aggresive and they were scared of him,he just caused trouble,so dh said try putting him with the big ones , I was afraid they would pick on him cause he is so small and differeant looking but he made out great!they would try to peck him and he would take at them and they would run,he is some fiesty little fellow. He was in there crowing up a storm,I do have a big bo rooster in there but he is still young so I will have to watch that, so far so good,I think thats what he wanted all along was to be in with the big ones.

He probably thinks he has won the lottery!

Bridgewater, ME

I`m sure he does, went out early this morning to check on him and he is still strutting his stuff.

Eatonton, GA(Zone 8b)

That is so funny Green!! It gives me hope that I will be able to put my little Frizzles in with the Big Guys too!....... will be several weeks yet! LOL!

Bridgewater, ME

I can`t believe it this tiny little thing that looks like he had a bad hair day makes those big hens move out of the way.He was born in Feb. so he is not a year old yet,and can he ever move,he darts here and there maybe he makes them dizzy, hope the big bo rooster never decides that is a threat.

Bridgewater, ME

I went out a few minutes ago and here is Frizzle crowing up a storm saying I`m King of the roost, you can see how big the hens are compared to him

Green, what is the roof made of? The coop looks like it would be so nice and warm and safe for them. I like the boards.

Bridgewater, ME

The boards are from my old barn that we tore down and the ceiling lanoleum(wrong spelling)carpeting. It is insulated and its two years old.

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

Good use of recycled material Green...
