Echeveria 'Ebony'
Echeveria agavoides

Agavoides ebony is a recognized natural form of the species. The more direct sunlight it gets the more color will develop. In lower light only the tips will show hints of the name color at the tips.

Can you explain the difference between "Lipstick" and "Ebony" ? The picture you posted is so very pretty

Lipstick is a hybrid of agavoides. It is created by crossing agavoides with ebony.

There are many variations to lipstick. Sometimes the color is good enough for a lipstick to be easily confused with ebony.

However ebony is usually unique in its form...a much stouter fuller form than the typical lipstick.
