Does anyone know who created the hybrid Brunfelsia 'isola'? It is a cross between Brunfelsia americana and B. grandiflora. I am interested in hybridizing other Brunfelsia species and would like to learn the technique or any special needs to hybridize Brunfelsia. Many of them have a long 'throat' and it would be tricky to hybridize.

This is a new cultivar created as a cross between B. americana and B. grandiflora. It has advantages of fragrant cream-colored brunfelsias and light purple color of flowers that change sometimes to cream-yellowing, remaining purple margins. Very slow-growing.
I could not find the name of the hybridizer.
