whole chicken in a slow cooker

i woud like to hear from anyone who has ever cooked a whole chicke (about 3 pounds) in a slow cooker using no liquid at all. i would especially like to know what color it came out and does it have to be put under the broiler before or after cooking.. also can you tell me how long you cooked it for and whether at high or low temp.
