Thank you all so much! I'm sorry to have missed the get together, but in addition to not feeling well, it's probably just best that I didn't have to drive home in the dark (I don't drive at night unless there's no choice at all!).

Today has been a terrific day - lots of phone calls, a visit from my brother and his wife (they even brought lunch, a homemade cake and nummy ice cream, not to mention a nice gift). My guy friend was here as well, along with my dogs and cats, and who could ask for anything more???!!!

My oldest daughter had gall bladder surgery last week and has had a rough go of it, but she called today and sounds much more like herself. Now that is indeed a gift!
