Seed to bloom in 7 months, a new record for me.

Watertown, NY

This Orange Zest x Angels Glorie cross is the fastest regular brug I have ever had go from seed to bloom. I thought it might turn orange, and well might in warmer weather. It is not a fancy or showy flower, but I do love the nice yellow color.

That is a very crisp color. I wonder what she would look like in Texas heat?

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

I love that yellow color! How tall is the whole plant? It doesn't look all that tall.

Watertown, NY

The plant is about 40 inches tall. I tried a new meathod for starting my seeds this year. I am not sure if tht is why it bloomed earlier, but I do know my seedlings grew faster, larger and very healthy.

I think i might hold this one over until next year.
