Well what I thought was alata bloomed.

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

I grew this from seeds from a trade called passiflora alata. It apparently isn't. I went back to an old seed list and checked them out in plant file and couldn't find one that looks like it.

Does anyone recognize it?

It has two types of leaves on it .. the ones at the base of the plant aren't lobed.

Thanks .. that wasn't on my seed list .. the person who sent me the seeds must have accidentally dropped one in.

If anyone wants it, raise your hands and I'll cut it back and send it to you for postage.

I'd love a P. edulis! I'll send you a dmail!

Thats the thing with buying seeds, you take forever germinating them and growing the plant on to it flowers and then its not what you wanted..seems wrong doesnt it... and a waste of time/money.
