Bet this hummer thought he was a goner for sure. He flew into the kitchen and landed on a light fixture. I grabbed the camera quickly, before he figured out his mistake. Then I turned off the light so he would head for the door. Last pic shows him back in his element.

#5 Home at last! He was so relieved to be back on his feeder, he sat there about 5 minutes, not moving. Never saw any hummer do that.

What fun you must have had watching this little one. If it was winter, I'd say the hummer just wanted to warm itself up from the light. Glad everything turned out okay and the bird is back outside.

Once I turned off the big fluorescent light, he headed for the light outdoors.
It was unforgettable. That's for sure.
