CLOSED: Wanted Confederate Rose cuttings or rooted plants

Mesilla Park, NM

Anyone cutting down their Hibiscus Confederate Rose the double and single, or tell me where to buy some cuttings. I had purchased some off the marketplace two years ago, but I didn't know how to root them and lost them, and there aren't any for sale now. I'd like that one in particular and maybe a couple of others that you guys think may be hardy here in Zone 7/8. If anyone has a rooted one, that would be heaven for me or at least 5 cuttings so that I can try rooting.

I have echinopsis pups size of golf balls, small varigated agave' pups to trade or would do postage if that is alright.

Thank you for reading this and hope to hear from you.

I'll check my seedlings in the morning. I had started some confederate rose seeds and I may have some seedlings left. If so I will send you some for postage.

Hi, I have about 20 seedlings. They are about 1-2 inches tall. I need to seperate them and pot them up in seperate pots. Are you interested or do you want me to wait until they get bigger?

Marti, do you happen to have any more seeds, maybe I should try starting them from seed. I think we should try sending them now before it gets cold. I went to Lowes today and got these Hardy Hibiscus Blue River, Peppermint Schnapps (I think I got two of these one pot was not labeled) and Hibiscus cannabinus Kenaf Brown Indian Hemp (this was not labeled either but I looked up the leaves) and the four of them have tiny buds on them. I'll put them into the garden beds tomorrow and feed them with some bloom booster. I just discovered that the Hardy Hibiscus would make an excellent plant here and I can hardly wait to get started with them. I have to try to find seeds also.

Let me know what you think and if they can be sent via priority, they will be potted up asap and they will get adapted to our area here before winter sets in.

Thank you and hopefully I'll have some of the above to trade later on when they grow some.

Yes I have more seeds. I also have lots of Mary Poppins Hibiscus seeds if you want to try them. I have found that the seeds germinate quickly and do well. I've had good luck germinating hibiscus seeds. I will ship on the 3rd of Oct when our next check comes in. OK?

Marti, let me know how much you need and I'll send it asap, it should arrive about the same time, that way you don't have to use your funds, dmail me your address too.

I'm trying to figure out what size box would be safe for the seedlings. Like I said they are only 1- 2 inches tall. I'm thinking I could slide them into a flat rate box for $4.95. and fit in the seeds also. What do you think?

Marti,

Let's wait, I've come to my senses, 1 inch is too small for me to try to keep alive.. let's wait till they are a little bit bigger. I would love some seeds though.. let me send you some postage ahead of time and when they are bigger you will already have it there. In the meantime, I can try some seeds. Thank you so much. I appreciate the thought and everything you are willing to do for me.
