My wife of 47 years is an experienced outdoor gardener who has no interest in my gessies. Two months ago my hip replacement went out on me and I was hospitalized awaiting a hip replacement replacement (hip revision) which came about ten days later. I've got three plant shelves and a porch full of gessies - my instructions to her: "don't over water."
I came home yesterday with a new hip to find thriving plants (many in bloom) indoors and nicely dried off Achimenes and good looking Begonias on the porch.
Is this the product of a good marriage or what!
After 2-months away, gessies well
how wonderful. lol my hubby has been really good also when i have been away & knows nothing about plants, so this is just wonderful.

I'd say she's a "keeper", but I'm sure you know that already. LOL
Hope you (and your hip) are on the mend!

She certainly did a great job for you!! I wish you a quick recovery and no more problems with that hip.

Wow! Hope you are recovering nicely. I seen on tv recently about defective replacements and I thought how awful to have to go thru that twice. So sorry for you!
I think she should be very proud of herself for taking such good care of your plants. She obviously knows how much they mean to you. We put alot of time, thought and care into our plants and I know you must have been some worried how they were doing. Must have been a really good feeling to see them doing so well.
Take care. tish
SO glad she babied your collection and everything turned out good for you. Yep, I would say she is a keeper too. Hope you are doing better now and on the road to recovery.
Connie
Thanks to you all who wished me well and who comended my dear wife for her good works.
Your wife surely is a saint. taking care of your plants and rtaking care of you, I am sure, but at the end it's worth it, because you are on the road to recovery and happy.Helene
