I just bought my first 3 bromeliads from Lowe's and have no idea what type they are. The tag just says 'Bromeliads'. Any help IDing would be appreciated. Thanks.

These are all Guzmanias - most likely hybrids of which there are very many.

Thanks. Hopefully now I can ID the specific kind. I wish Lowe's would have provided that information.
Realistically you won't be able to definitively identify them. Most of these Guzmania hybrids that are sold "in bulk" are seedlings from Europe or possibly Florida and if they had labels at one time it seems to me that when they reach Lowes or wherever they end up the tags seem to be lost.
The fcbs site is very good - another source would be to check Deroose Plants http://deooseplants.com They are a Belgian company that expanded into Florida about 5-6 years ago. They are wholesale only but are a likely supplier to Lowes et. al.
Lowes often has great plant values but labels seem to be optional.
