We got to talking on the way home from the RU and we wondering about some people we haven't seen post in awhile.

I wanted to attend, if only for "Rock/stone Central"; but a bunch of little complications added up to a calendar/schedule roadblock.

I was there in spirit, wishing everyone well!

Sounded like a swell time!

I'm waiting for the first RU in the Hamptons, it doesn't matter which Hampton. It could be East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Hampton Bays, West Hampton, South Hampton, ... as long as it has Hampton in it. -You know, where you show your invitation and they give you a glass of Chardonnay and some pastries at the gate and stuff.
Otherwise I may start tele-transporting my alter-ego to the RU when it's time for the raffle by holding my forehead and chanting like Kreskin does. Of course the weather would have to be perfect too, not too hot not too windy, not too cool...

Michaela has posted from time to time recently. Emily too. Remember - she was planning on attending the RU.

Was coming to Maine to look at a farm house up in Arroostook County (potato land) and they were very excited about buying it. Bill (Nancy's DH) told my DH he wanted to move up there and farm...no cell phones, no PC....go back to the old way of life and live off the land. Have not heard from them since.......

Shortly after Kassia's RU.....we emailed each other the last time in Oct. of 2008.

OK...found her! Nanegoat66(Nance) that is...she is still in Conn. and I let her know she has been missed.

Yup. In the hen house and hiding in the basement. It was too hot this summer. My garden fried.
