New here at DG but not to gardening or Texas!
Plants are a part of me and they know when I am around so I guess I am connected with the Flora. I hope to meet fellow gardeners around me as do I hope you all wish to meet me as well.

uhh, what's an RU and where should I go if I go?
An RU is a round up. It's when a lot of us DGrs here in the area get together for an afternoon of food and plant trading. We bring what ever plants, manure, coffee grounds, or anything else we have extras of or wish to share. If you don't have anything extra to bring that's ok too. Just come and enjoy lunch and meet all of us. It's in Arlington at Randol Mill park. If you want to come just click on the link I posted for the sign up thread, all the details are on the first post of the thread. Then feel free to come on over to the trade thread and see what all is going on over there. That is the second link I posted for you. Hope to see ya there :)
