How was the Game?
Hi Cindy,
In Athens now, about to go to the game. It sure is hot, thought it would be a little cool. Fortunately, where we sit is covered so we are not in the sun. Gooo Dawgs!!!
I sure do hope you had a wonderful weekend. How was the Game?
Boooo,we lost! Just in the last minute or so, tied 24 to 24 and they let them throw a pass and run down the field! Oh well, I did get some cuttings of nodding clerodendron so I am happy.
Hi,
How is everything going? The weather is changing and I truly love this time of the year. Did you get a chance to root my new babies yet. I'm still waiting to see if you would like to trade something or would you like for me to send you postage. Please let me know..
Cindy
Hi Cindy,
I stuck them last week. Not really sure how long it will take, haven't really rooted Hoyas before, except the ones I got in trade and I just left them alone to grow, so I don't know how long it takes the roots to develop. I will ask over on the H. forum. You can probably send postage, can't think of anything I NEED at the moment.
Ok just let me know and i will get it in the mail. i'm seating here looking at the logee's Catalog i think that getting ready to get myself in some trouble.
Is there anything in particular you are wanting? They have such high prices for such small plants. I placed an order about a month ago, and 3 of the 5 were more or less dead when they got here. I emailed, and they were kind enough to send more, but one of those died a couple of days after I got it. It was the two toned allamanda. Let me know what you want and I may have it.
Well you know my list is not that BIG...LOL
Camellia Yume
Schlumbergera Christmas flame
" " Thor Carmen
Jasminum Sambac maid of orleans arabic tea
Oxalis Hedysaroides rubra fire red
euphorbia punicea Jamaican Poinsettia
Allamanda cheries Jubilee
Philodendrom gloriosum
LOL, well nice to know there are plants that I don't have. I do have the A. Cherries jubilee, but I have tried rooting it a couple of times and nothing. I may try to air layer it, maybe that would work better. Hold off on that one for awhile, and I will see what happens.
Oh thank you are you interested in a Banana scrub?
Uh, shrub or scrub? LOL If its shrub, I already have one, thanks. If its scrub, is it for the body or something else?
LOL...That is too funny...
Well I was thinking of you while i was planting it.
I bought mine this past summer. Got a great deal on it, it was in a 3 gal. container and about 4 ft tall. The lady only wanted $10. for it. I had heard they were hard to grow here, but she said hers did fine outside and with the last two winters we hvae had, if it survived that, then it should be fine. I took some cuttings about 2 weeks ago. I had read that it is fairly easy to root. I have so far 4 out of 5 that are hanging on. I always hate to test for roots, because that always seems to mess them up.
Someone sent me Clipping of a Candy Corn Vine thought that would be cute for the grandkids to see. Well if that darn plant is just sitting in a cup of water i'm afraid to pull it out....Keep your finger crossed
Thank you so much for the surprise plant that came thru the mail...
Hugh Hug for you...
Cindy
