ID this large AV?

Damascus, MD(Zone 7a)

This AV came from a friend who lost the original label of the plant. It was a sucker potted up about 4 months ago and it is blooming for the first time now. Now it is still a baby, but is about 8" in size. The larger leaves on this plant is more than 2" in diameter. The flowers are about 1.5" in diameter when fully open. The mother plant is about 15" in size. The leaves do not form a perfect rosette though. Some leaves are a lot longer than others and they are sticking out to all different directions. Not sure if that's the way the plant is supposed to be or if it is something I have done wrong :-)

Since there are not as many large AVs as regular ones, I am hoping somebody might be able to ID it. Thanks.

Hey Sally,

She is a beauty :) Ask your friend if she has ever purchased a Buckeye series. Please understand that if you ever trade her babies or leaves, you will probably have to classify her as a NOID as she may resemble several different A.V.s. If she bought it in a store, it maybe a Optimara but again, I would keep her as a NOID to be safe and not send out a mislabeled baby. Sorry, Sally :(

Connie, thank you for the reply. Yeah, unless we know the exact ID of a plant, it will have to be labeled as NOID. It is a lovely big plant, ID or no :-)
