Many of you know i work at a Home Depot....
HD has an "Employee Fund Committee" (EFC) that tries to raise funds throughout the year.
Almost half of all the yearly X-mas party has to be paid for by EFC--gifts for everyone--and such.
The "Company" gives us about $30 for each Associate to pay for part of this Celebration.
The EFC holds many Lunches ($5 per meal) and Bake Sales throughout the year to raise funds.....
One such Bake Sale is coming up this Friday....Sept. 17th. As usual--only a few people haul to provide the contributions...
Mostly us older--and longer-term Associates do most of it...I always try to contribute something....
All these new guys and cashiers--they can't cook or bake and, mostly, have NO idea whet the EFC is.
They just like to eat!
OK! That was just an Intro, so you understand what's what.....
Usually, I make English Muffin Pizzas--which all sell out. They ARE GOOD!
However--i am trying to use up stuff i have in my fridge and my freezer--so this is what i have thought of doing--
but need some ideas.
I have been thinking of making some kind of meat-stuffed biscuit thingies .
I have lg. 2 cans of "Pillsbury Grands" and I have home-made meatloaf--in my freezer.
No one seems to be eating the Meatloaf--so I want to do something with it.
Here's my question:
What could I add to the fairly dry Meatloaf to make a good filling for the "Grands"???????
I have thought of mixing in some Beef broth....Maybe some kind of cheese?--
Possibly a touch of Tomato sauce. Anything else????
It HAS TO BE quick and simple--and I need to know by this Thursday (9/16)
so I can work on it....
PLEASE HURRY!!!!!
Thanks, Gita
