Is that the same as 'Lemon Meringue' or something else? I haven't heard of one by that name :)

It must be Alistair, cream colored first skirt and yellow second. By the way Alistair, it's good to see you around, don't be such a stranger.

Nice picture skylon, thanks.

The person who bred it probably does.

st catharines, Canada

The person who bred it is not you , so save your crappy comments for yourself
Maybe it is good that you stay of the site MR EXPERT , since your nasty

There are a lot of people here who's native language is not English and I am one of them
I speak,read and write in 3 languages
So if I spell something wrong its no big deal
I am a working mother of three kids,,,,,I came to Canada when the war started in my country
Never went to school to learn English cause I had to work very hard

Sooooo I am very proud of my English
If my spelling bothers you so much STAY OFF MY POSTS

skylon, what was all that about? I am quite sure he was not trying to be ugly but you sure turned out to be. Your comments are completely out of line. There is going to be people who differ from you and they have just as much right to post as you. Sounds like you have a bit too much pride and you ware it on your sleeves. If you cant act right, don't post.

Wow, what an inappropriate response skylon. That is the most negative post I have seen on this forum.

I too saw nothing negative in Allistair's post. Proper nomenclature is very important.

If I did misunderstand ,,,,,he would have apologized

He did not try to be ugly,,,,,,he was ugly

And you two are not any better

Maybe you should not post

Skylon.......don't forget the purpose of your thread....it's to show everyone who reads it, a Brug that you are rightfully proud of...
It is very beautiful and it must be very exciting for you.

BUT...if I was new to Brug growing and saw it for the first time on your thread, fell in love with it and tried to buy it.
Then I wouldn't have had much luck.

Your spelling of it's name wasn't in question ......it was that it's name wasn't complete....
That is why when someone puts up a name that is not quite correct...hopefully there is always someone who can identify it.
So new Brug lovers can buy it and enjoy it as you obviously do.

I only wish I had one, I loved it the first time I saw it.

st catharines, Canada

The purpose of this thread was to share my happiness and the beautiful pics I took time to
take and post. I am not an expert on these plants , so if I do make a mistake and call it the wrong name
I think there is a nice way to correct that.
He just made me feel very stupid. His comments were very rude ,,,,,,specially the emoticon
He could have said " Your Lemon Meringue is very nice" with the proper spelling
After all I am on this site to learn and find out as much as I can about these beautiful plants

Thanks so much for letting us peak at your pretty bloom.
Yes L M is a bit difficult to spell, you can just use the initials next time, the ones with difficult spelling can just be broken down to the initials if that makes life easier for everyone. Lots of people do that skylon ^_^

I hope you learn heaps and enjoy your Brug journey.
Keep posting your pretty pics.

Skylon, Alistair's emoticon at the end of his post was merely a smiley. He was only trying to get the proper ID as brug enthusiasts do.

There's no reason to be upset. :-)

Good luck with your LM.
