This bird landed right outside my window. I only got one picture and it's lousy. I'm so tired of that. I didn't rush to snap or anything and yet nothing is in focus. I was just reading about how people who don't know anything about quantum mechanics (like me) use it to explain everything which really annoys people who do know about it, but I can't help but think that when I get excited, my brain affects my camera!
Some kind of oriole? Chin and tail appeared to be turning orange.
This one just came to get water right outside my window. I don't think it's the same bird b/c I don't see the orange color, but it's probably the same kind. The wingbars are the confusing part for me. They're very distinctive. I'm sure that will make it easier for you bird experts.
