Pretty version.

My purple ones FINALLY bloomed this year after sulking because of being moved. Once I finally knew where they were I dug them up and moved them to a 'better location' (again). Eventually I will have a garden so divine in its balance.

DD, I can imagine how beautiful the purple spiders are. Do you have enough to trade? Shades of purple and blues are my most favorit colors. But I sure do love the red SP's ever since that first surprise years ago, of seeing a huge, HUGE bed of them where I'd never seen any plants at all before.

tvksi - no, I just moved them to "better location". I had just enough for a decent grouping. It will be a few years before I have any to trade.

I had a ton of the red surprise lilies that I found homes for here on Dave's Garden. I wonder if any of them bloomed this year.

Surprise lilies don't like being moved. Takes awhile for them to get over the shock to their systems.

Here is a photo of my purple Naked Lady.

Beautifull. My neighbor Mary L. gave me this one in the '90's and this was first bloom. When I sold my home I dug up a bunch of them for my new garden along with many other bulbs. That winter was a dreadfully wet one and all of my Amarillas etc, rotted. I am gradually trying to replace as many as possible.
