Is it ok to give chickens buttermilk? Will they even drink it?

It should be fine, actually good for them. I think they would drink it once they got used to it.
I have given mine cottage cheese soaked in buttermilk. They love it!
Then I'll try it! The four of them loved the cottage cheese for a while, but recently haven't been interested in it at all... My chickens are wierd. they don't like veggies, only fruit (especially figs and blueberries) and pasta.
Try watermelon or pumpkin.
My apple trees are dropping apples and my chickens are having a blast eating the apples. They love pumpkins too and watermelon. In fact, they'll eat just about anything we put out there for them. We'll soon be cleaning out our garden and guess who will get the last of the goodies? Yup..........our spoiled chickens.
They are kind of like little goats, aren't they?
I have gardening pigs. They clean up the left over vegetation and cultivate and fertilize. So the chickens miss out.
Our pigs went to slaughter so now the chickens get everything the pigs were getting.
