Here are some of today's hibiscus in bloom. This one is Hibiscus "Gone Green"
Today's Blooms In South Florida
It's quite a yellow day for you today, huh? So pretty! Thanks for sharing!
Nice Jon! I'm glad to see pics from you :-)
Love them all, but the Neon Nova is spectacular! Snug
My heart is just melting over Tigerama and Creme De La Creme...sigh.....just lovely Jon!
Oh Wow, that is one gorgeous photo! I love neon nova since seeing this pic. What a great shot you took, would make a good screen saver too:-)
Where can I buy Neon Nova?
Thanks Maureen. I remember the day I took that photo. It was the first day of summer and it was 100 degrees. You would think 100 degrees would be common down here, but it isn't. Its only happened 3 times....ever.
"Neon Nova" was very briefly available from an online retailer in Florida back in the spring of 2008. I haven't seen it available since then. Perhaps it's because the blooms are average in size (6 inches). It's above average when it comes to blooming/growing nicely and foliage quality. I'm a bit surprised it hasn't been more readily available. There are many orange & red colored blooms, but very few are as bright as this one.
Jon
Great blooms as always Jon...I too would like to add Neon Nova to my collection. :~)
