Need ID help

I'm pretty new to ID'ing butterflies so I need a bit of help. This type was all over my yard yesterday - just clouds of them wherever I walked. Here's two next to each other on my sedum.

This is a bit unclear but you can see the coloring a little better than the first page.

Looks like you have Silver Spotted Skippers!!! WOW! We don't get those out here but am thinking to see several in your yard at one time is really special! Is that a third on in the first photo - way off to the far top right?

Here's the link from BAMONA for butterflies in your county.

Thanks, Cat, for the links and the ID..and yes, that is a third in the picture. You should see them in my yard right now..heavens, it's like dust there's so many! :) Thanks for the ID and If I can get a good picture of a bunch of them at once. I don't know if it's the terrible heat/humidity we've had this summer or what, but the butterflies have been swarming my yard. I'm fairly new at trying to ID them and having a blast with all of them that we do have.

You must their larval host plant or tree nearby to have so many visiting your yard. Congrats! They are nice looking skippers! Those big ones are always a joy to watch.
