rupestris agastache, how does it do in N texas?

I found this at Green Mama's @ 35% off! I am considering it in my very xeri bed. Does anyone know how it will do? http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2064/

Smock & I went to Galveston & came home with a truck load of plants & I think we got some of this.

I don't know that plant at all, but Agastaches usually do well around here.

Here I am dragging up an old thread because of the article about agastaches on the home page. ;)

Who sells agastaches around Arlington? I saw where one is called Texas Humminbird Mint - are there any other names I should look/ask for?

Just want to let you know that one is doing very well in spot with a lot of sun and minimal water.

Do you have clay up there? If they'll do well in clay, I'm thinking I've got a ton of problem spots solved next year. :)

Lots of clay after those darn builders strip away the topsoil (to sell it back to us most probably) but I always amend the hole with compost.
