I don't know the name. Potted & rooted, ready to go. The picture is of one that is blooming. Wld like maybe a bulb of some kind or a small rooted something for zone8b. Thanks!

That is an Echeveria variety. A houseplant in the North.

Thank you, I left this plant in my greenhouse over winter. It took the cold very well but I'm not sure if it would take frost in the South - it is actually a very pretty plant with the silver foliage & pink bloom. I rooted some of the babies off of it because someone told me it would die after it bloomed. It did not, so I have rooted plants now & they need a home. Donna

I don't think it can take frost. Whoever told you it would die after blooming had it confused with Sempervivums (aka hen and chicks) which it does resemble.

I am new to growing succulents, but being in So. Cal, the weather helps a lot!! I would love to give your babies a home, if you have any left...
