You're not going to believe this, but this afternoon when I was watering the garden, I had this hummingbird that seemed to follow me around. I was wearing a red t-shirt and every time I stopped to give plants a good drink, this guy would buzz all around me, probably looking for the nectar. So I'm stopped in front of some dark purple double petunias and I see this thing coming toward me out the the corner of my eye and realized it must be the hummingbird .. then I hear a buzzing next to my right ear and the next thing I know the stupid bird STUCK ITS BEAK IN MY EAR!!!!!!! Luckily my reflexes made me move to the left so he didn't go too far in. Jeeze .. mugged by a humming bird. I think that's one hummingbird that doesn't need to be in the gene pool.
Assaulted by a retarded hummingbird
ROTFLMAO!!!!! :0
funniest thing I've heard in awhile!!!
Now THAT's funny.......thanks for the chuckles!
Nat-Geo moment.
I'm still experiencing the "ewwww shiver" factor every time I think of it. It was so totally unexpected! I've had birds dive bomb me, but never one stick their beak in my ear. I can't fathom what was going thru its pea brain to even do that.
you just looked yummy! :)~
I mean really now .. flowers don't walk around a yard spitting water out .. this guy had to be really really stupid.
I use an ortho crawling insect repellent spray around the door frames to keep the roaches at bay. It is a white bottle with a large red top and red lettering on the label. I left the bottle on the deck the other day and then noticed a hummer was driving itself crazy flying into the red parts. It probably had a pretty good headache too.
Well the one that attacked me is obviously brain damaged - he started following me around again this morning and I'm not wearing red, I immediately took the scrunchy out of my hair to cover my ears .. he is in desperate need of some intervention. Probably should call A & E or something .. perhaps dr. phil? Maybe he got dropped on his head or something when he was an egg.
Watch out X---you may be dealing with a perverted Hummer here...
I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks .. he probably put his beak in the wrong ear.
X - while out front the other day I thought of you as hummingbird tried to 'feed' on the red pull handle of the garage door...dang if he didn't keep trying lol (it's an electric door so the cord hangs down with a red puller on it)
Got some mentally challenged hummingbirds everywhere!
