How do I get rid of these bugs?? I have tried everything!! Neem oil, Sevin, etc. Anyone know a surefire way to get rid of these pests???
Whiteflies!!
Organic method: spray with pyrethrins and safer's insecticidal soap. Spray every three or four days for 3 weeks (life cycle is 3 weeks and you have to break that cycle) and you should get them under control. Be sure to spray UNDER the leaves where the nymphs and adults are. This spray will not kill eggs.
Non-organic method: spray with something like permethrin according to package directions. 1-7 day wait for harvest depending on the vegetable. Don't mix too strong, it doesn't work any better if it is mixed too strong, follow minimum amount per gallon. Avid also kills whitefly but is very expensive and not labeled for whitefly.
I used to use chemicals before going organic!
