Brand new kittens!

Our cat, "Polly", tore a hole in our screen door on July 1st and had a secret (not so secret) rendesvous with the ugliest, meanest, one-eared, one-eyed (literally) tom cat around these parts. Polly was quite young and I didn't realize she was in heat until that night. :( I wanted to get her spayed the end of July. Ugh....anyhooo, Polly had three, very pretty kittens earlier this evening. Two appear to be male and one female.

Two of the kittens are polydactyl, and one of them appears to have 8 toes on his front paws.

So anyway, Mama-kitty is very protective right now and is residing in "the nursery" ( aka a large dog crate with towels over it to make it dark), so I will get some photos up tomorrow. Two grey/tabby kittens have unusual coloring and the orange boy appears almost Bengal-ish. They are just plain, stinkin' cute and all three have homes...Mama has a vet appt in 8 weeks!
