I am having a terrible time with squirels and a wood chuck nawing chunks out of my pumpkins and butternut squash . They are just starting to turn color and I was wondering if I can harvest them and let them ripen up in my window ? I just know one morning I'll go out there and find them a pile of rind . so frustrating !
