New H.P. inkjet printer issues

My new H.P. inkjet printer was working. Then AT&T told me I had to change my DSL password to their password when I was having modem issues with their equipment. Since then my "print" requests line up in a queue. "Can't find printer". I didn't set up the printer, so don't know if the password change is what is causing the issue. Can anyone help me?
