trade Japanese iris for Japanese knotweed.

Floyd, VA(Zone 6b)

I have Japanese, Siberian, dwarf, and tall bearded. I would really like to trade for a plant as soon as possible.

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

Hi, tomorrow I will check with our local nursery about it. They have a plant that takes over most of the hill behind the nursery that looks like the pictures of Japanese Knotweed. If it is I'll ask if I can dig up some of it. I'll let you know tomorrow.

(Zone 7a)

Gloria....Make sure you really want this plant. Once you plant it there's NO Turning Back!! LOL I planted a Sprig with a few roots....It now has to be removed and it has to be professionally moved (pulled with a backhoe). I cut it to the ground, used a saw and a Axe. Doesn't work...it comes back with a vengeance

Being that it is a Fall Bloomer the seeds aren't ready.. But I can provide you with many in the fall.

This is the one I have let me know if interested http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/57524/

Are you looking for the knotweed that is actually a running type invasive weed ? Or are you looking for knotweed Persicaria microcephala, "painters pallete" ," lance corporal", or red dragon????? and others????

I have Persicaria microcephala.

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Yeah - the plant known as Japanese Knotweed here is a problem plant and has been classified as a Class B noxious weed. The problem continues to get worse - I can see it all over the countryside.
