Collin County Master Gardeners are preparing for the first annual Garden Show in Collin County on March 26th and 27th, 2011. This show is focused on providing research based horticulture information to our area residents (presentations by experts ever 1:15 minutes). We are inviting sponsors and vendors who supply products and services needed to keep our lawns and gardens healthy.
Who do you want to see as a vendor if you come to the event? Where do you shop for your gardening goodies?
I would like to see Calloway's nursery, Landscape Resource from Rockwall and Rohdes.
We invited Calloway's. They don't participate in Garden Shows, but have given us 100 gift certificates to give away. Hopefully, one will go to you. We will contact Landscape Resource and Rohdes to invite them. Next time you are in you might encourage them to participate. Last year, I went to a good presentation at the Marshall Grain's in Grapevine by someone from Natural Gardener in Austin about their Ladybug organic products. Maybe they would be willing to do the show since their products are carried at various stores throughout the area.
