Hello All,
We had one in our backyard yesterday...all by it's lonesome...no other ATS, but surrounded with about 50 HOSP...Grrrr. anyway, what a shock to see one already down from the Arctic Circle/Canada/ alaska already! E-Bird doesn't even have any sightings close to here during the fall migration til October! The only other one we ever had was on 12/14/09!
American Tree Sparrow sighting already!
Looks more like a Chipping Sparrow to me - blackish line through the eye, not rufous as in ATS.

Resin,
Hmmmm...well, after closer inspection this morning, you are probably right. I've looked at so many comparable pics my head hurts...lol
Oh well...
Thanks for IDing :)
Yep, that one's right!
Resin
Thanks bunches Resin! I appreciate your time...cheers! :D
