Hello All,
My husband and I walked through some local wetlands this afternoon here in Lincoln and I only have one pic of this bird which looks like a flycatcher. It seems to have a white band on it's tail feathers too. There is a more yellow/golden area under it's beak/chest area too. I cropped this pic the best I could without making it any blurrier than it already is...sorry folks. I know I'm asking a lot with a poor pic. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Need a bird ID please :)
Possible female Baltimore Oriole...or a Vireo, not too sure.
Hello Burd,
Thanks!...you're probably right about a female Baltimore Oriole. I'm still trying to figure out the white area below the leaf that crosses it's tail feathers...scratching my head. It can't be light shining through the tree since it's tail feathers extend directly below the white area...
Hmmmm...I must go to the eye Dr for a stronger lens for my glasses...lol
