House fly's on My hib's?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knew why I would have 12 house fly's on my Cindy's Heart bloom as well as my Saffron. There seems to be holes in the bloom that were not there before. I just filled the spray bottle with insect spray. But thought I should confirm that they are doing something bad before I get rid of them. Are they eating another pest?? Or are they up to no good?
