Small clumping Banana question

Portage, WI(Zone 5a)

(Suppose I should have put this in the Tropical Fruit section - but I'll never get fruit anyways....) Bought some Banana seeds off eBay 1 1/2 years ago. Listed as Blue Banana, for the fruit color, seller no longer on eBay, of course. Only one survived until now - major spider mite outbreak last winter. Outside for the summer it is clumping. Must be 24 little plants along with mom. Overall, less than 1 foot tall. 3 1/2" square pot. Does not seem right. 24+ Bananas, or 24+ of anything in a small pot?? Any thoughts? Maybe it is not even a Banana? Should I try to remove any of the offsets? Did I create some kinda mutant with all the bug sprays this winter? I have 2 other types of Bananas that are growing by leaps and bounds outside inthe sun. This one just kinda sits there.

Need to see the mature plant, but it kinda looks like a Canna.

What mature plant? This is my 1 1/2 yr old plant with pups. Yes, kinda does look like a Canna. How does one tell the difference - besides waiting?

A mature plant has a flower. If you plant the plant in a larger pot, it may be allowed to develop into a mature plant.

I too believe that the picture above is of a canna. Although bananas DO come up from runners underground, and can spread quite easily, I'm pretty sure what is listed above is not a banana. Canna's will bloom beautifully, although it may be a tad late for your area, as small as those are (and a bit crowded) Many canna can get 6 feet tall.
