A house (cobweb) spider has been in a very visible corner of my apartment for a couple of months. She has had an egg sac for a week or so.
I’m moving in a week, and am sure the landlord, painters, etc will kill the spider, so I’d like to move her and the sac to safety. I’m in Tennessee, so it’s warm outside, but there are tons of cellar spiders, which have killed the other outside cobweb spiders I’ve seen, so I’m hesitant to put them out back. And it's a tiny bright apartment, with no place really to hide them here.
Is it possible to move both spider and her egg sac safely, and where might they best be relocated?
