After seeing the tropical plants die in my yard the past two winters, especially this past year which was supposed to be the coldest in decades in Central Florida; I have decided to try and grow cold hardy plants like a Colorado Blue Spruce called 'The Blues' which is a dwarf weeping variety, a Hinoki Cypress 'Nana Gracilis', and a Japanese Maple 'Shaina'. I am also trying my luck with roses of the Fortuniana rootstock variety.
As you can see, I recently got bit by the gardening bug :)
