I have another sick hen. A 1 1/2 year old bantam. Laying in the bottom of the pen unable to stand. Brought her in the AC and got 6ml of electrolyte and vitamin water in her. She is pecking at the crumbles and can stand now. She is VERY thin. Dehydration?

I don't know, but it sounds like you are on the right track. Hope she continues to improve.
Got another 6ml of water into her. Now she is standing in the kitchen floor eating bread bits and drinking on her own.

congrats Cajun. This heat has been terrible. I have several water pans put out now along with their waterers. They like to stand in them. I am going to put vits. in their water when I refill again. Have had rain the last few days and has really cooled this down temporarly
Poor thing. It is so hot the last few weeks. We sometimes spray the gound in the chickens pens wet, they dig in the cooled off dirt and lay in it. We have an Autralorp that stands in the water bowl too cool down. We even spray the tops of their houses with water to cool them off. Amazing what a difference it can make. It's time for a cool breeze to blow in, but here it won't be till October for that to happen, ugh! We at least have gotten a little rain, not sure if it cools anything down or just makes it more muggy when it stops.
She seemed to rally yesterday but she passed during the night. Sure wish I knew what it was.
