Hoping to ID 2 Butterflies

I had no luck on the BUG Identification Forum

First one...2 shots

and...

Butterfly #2 ...

I'm going with one of the emperors, Hackberry or Tawny for the first two. I'm stumped on the other one though.

I looked through my book and really not finding that third one. It's mottled like some of the fritillaries, but those eyespots are not in line with that. So then I was thinking maybe a buckeye. But no on that too. Maybe Dale will happen along.

Okay, Looked again. I think that must be a buckeye. And I'm guessing that first one was a Hackberry.

I agree....I was watching all the buckeyes today...and began to wondering if that was what it was....Thanks for working so hard on it!
