Hardy Fragrant plants/flowers outdoors in northern zones

Sarasota, FL

Everyone speaks of Tropical/subtropical zone envy, but I want to discuss things you can grow outside up north. Most of these we cannot grow at all in zone 9-b. Here's the fragrances that amazed me the most:
1) Lilacs, 2) lily of the valley; 3) Silver Olive was like hedge w/an Eleagnus scent. Then I discovered what I believe to be 4) Viburnum caruthersii.....then 5) Dog Hobble, Leucothoe spp., 6) Linden Tree or Tilia spp., 7) Carolina allspice Calycanthus sp. A few fragrant herbs: 1) Osha root 2) sweet melliot 3) Sweet Balm or Coyote Mint 4) Mt. Mint with the peppermint candy-not oregano scented leaf/tops. 5) Sweet Flag Acorus calamus. 6) Pineapple weed or rayless camomille.
So, what do you have similar or any others you suggest?

Middle of, VA(Zone 7a)

Ohhh Kevin ... now you're not only making me think but wanting to look up a few of those you listed.
Here's a few more...some I have - some I've heard of:
Ribes odoratum
Viburnum x burkwoodii 'Mohawk'
Philadelphus lewisii
Lonicera fragrantissima
Akebia quinata
