Do you have a pic to post?
This is the first bloom on my 'Cranberry Crush', it does not look anything like the pics. on the internet.
Is it my soil, my fertilizer, or did the company send me the wrong plant ?
I am leaning towards the wrong plant, as the other plant I ordered from them was also not what they sent me.
I did check their website and they also sell a hibiscus called 'Jazzberry Jam' which looks like mine.
Any ideas which hibiscus this could be ?
Thanks for your thoughts.

Is anyone growing hardy hibiscus ' Cranberry Crush' ?
I agree it doesn't look like any of the pictures I can find of Cranberry Crush. Even if hardies are like tropicals and have some color variation based on temperatures, etc this one seems pretty far off so I suspect it was mislabeled.
After reading the reviews on Garden watchdog for this company, I strongly agree with mislabeled. I guess I should be glad I received 2 healthy plants, although not the ones I ordered. It seems many customers get the wrong plants, or don't get the right amount of plants ordered, and no refund or replys to their email.
Please be aware when ordering from Gorge Top gardens that you could have problems with your order/s
I'd call/email the company and see if they'll replace the mislabeled plants, and then add your experience to the Watchdog too. I always check there before buying anything--there are lots of great mail order companies out there, but there are some bad ones too!
its a very nice one, i was impressed on how big the flowers are.. Jazzberry jam is one of my favs i have
Chinabitbit,
Your hibiscus does look like 'Fantasia', but the flowers are not quite as ruffled. I think you have 'Sweet Caroline'
Here is a picture of 'Cranberry Crush', though the flower is not quite totally open. 'Cranberry Crush' is a great hardy hibiscus because it is what I considered a dwarf, getting only 3, maybe 4 feet tall. Also most hardy hibiscus flower on the ends of the branches, CC will flower on the ends and also up the branch. The buds are a very dark almost black red before they open.
I know a great source for obtaining these in the Spring :-)

Hibiscus is about 3 ft. now. The company that I bought it from does not sell Sweet Caroline, so based on what they sell I googled the pics and compared to mine.
The 3 closest to mine were - 'Fantasia', 'Jazzberry Jam' and 'Party Favor'.
I recently saw a 'Jazzberry Jam' in Home Depot and it is definately not what I have.
So I may be back to having a mystery Hibiscus.
Thanks for the info on where to buy one next year.
Here is a pic taken this weekend.
I don't know where you bought these from--if it's from a company that does all their own growing or propagating then your plant likely is one of the other varieties that they sell. However, if they buy their plants originally from a wholesaler then the wholesaler likely grows quite a few other varieties so if the mislabeling happened on their end then there would be a lot more possibilities.
