When is the best time to apply benefical nemtodes? Can you apply them in the fall/winter here in Arkansas? Where is the best place to purchase them? Also if I deciede to use preen do I do it before or after I put the nemtodes in. I had major squash bug issues and am trying to find a way to get rid of them.

Katie, I don't know about winter, but do know they have to have a food source to survive. I am using them to control sweet potato weevils and was advised by a local nursery to apply them when the weevils were present. Same for cucumber beetle larva, wait until they are present in the soil.
I buy from a local source but also buy from Green Methods. They have online ordering.
Soil needs to be moist when you apply them and you should water them in after applying. They need ample moisture to be able to move in the soil.
