500 seeds at a time?!? Where do you have room for all of them? That would be fun though, being surprised every time one bloomed.

Mulberry, FL

I did it twice gluten for punishment I really enjoy it alot of work and always open for pots lucky me I had a friend give me a truck load of 3- 2 1 gallon pots I buy the soil by the yard. The most expensive parts fertilizer I use dynamite only once a yr lasts 9 months This yr I put in a sprinkler system everyones happy. Last year started collecting these enjoy these too but they may flower sooner but seem to be drama queens too have quite a few seedlings of these can't wait to see the flowers. To me plumerias are way easy to grow compared to these but its all good fun

Oh yeah. I've got 31 brugmansias, and am thinking all the time "why do I put myself through this heck growing them and overwintering them just so they can be eaten by cats, cucumber beetles that destroy the blooms, and wilt when it's hot." I may slowly switch over to Plumerias, but keep my very favorite brugs.

brugs are water hogs here. i did enjoy mine for a season though.

Dana,
I too bought seeds from Thailand and I have 4 seedlings from it!!

I also bought from Ebay and i think they were immature.. none sprouted!!! I have enough plumeria now totaling over 40 which goes to the sun room with the rests of the tropicals.
