OK--I'll start. Lost the tag on this one. Any clues? It's a mini.

For a mini that blooms frequently and profusely with good sized blooms, you can't beat Rob's Loose Noodle. This is a baby plant that I rooted from mama this spring. It doesn't seem to be prone to suckering either, like a lot of mini's are.

Honey Puff--first bloom--it languished for about a year before it decided to live.

I picked up this one to photograph, and found it had a ton of substantial suckers that I did not see on it when this bloom cycle started--really ruining the symmetry of this plant.

Harmony's Pinkstone--I know I recently posted this one in last month's thread, but I am so happy that it is continuing to bloom--went a year w/o blooming and almost croaked!

Last one--a plant that requires almost no care--always looks nice. I just give it a trim and repot once a year or so.

Strep 'Lady Lou' -- compliments of mrsbonnie. Beautiful little plant. -Jan/wiggiej

Have you guys ever seen this -- this was a strep I posted a few months ago. Supposed to be roulette azur. They sent a replacement, but now I"m seeing why they might have thought that. Anyhow, I know so little about streps -- is this weird or just something you see occasionally? In any case, I kind of like it.

A couple from the garden that I'm just smitten by. Hibiscus 'Sunny Wind' -- hope they (hibiscus) are legal here! Saw this at HD a few months ago, and it just grabbed my attention and reeled me in from across the garden center.

Started a bunch of japanese morning glory from seed this spring. Spring weather was brutal, and we had a few mishaps that set them back. But they are finally coming round and blooming in my too-much-shade yard. I haven't figured out which is which with any certainty yet, but I think this is Ipomoea nil 'Star of India'

I should know better than to grow morning glories -- I have very little sun. But I simply can't resist when the payoff is a flower this beautiful.

Hey Jan-- Are the leaves on Little Claus pointed or is it just the angle of the shot? Pretty little plant. There are so many AVs (like this one) I've never heard of or seen before-- amazing, fun and a wee bit overwhelming to a gal like myself prone to "collecting". -Jan/wiggiej

Hi mrsbonnie- What kind of plant is your mark twain x skyhigh red -- I am still sorting out what's what in the "other" category. Whatever it is, I really like it. -Jan/wiggiej

Hi There;
Mark twain x skyhigh red is a mini sinningia. The flower on the plant is quite large like mark twain, very nice.

My first sinningia (speciosum) bloom -- thanks to Maria! There are buds everywhere on this little guy. I think it's safe to to say that I'm hooked. -Jan

Thanks guys Every first bloom is such fun, especially when it's the first of a particular kind of plant.

Lynn, Helter Skelter is great. The "crazy color" (perhaps there's a better term for this?) streps are really interesting, I still can't get over how pretty my simple plain purple Moonlit Velvet is sitting on the kitchen table, so I imagine the variegated ones make for quite a show when they're in full bloom.

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Sometimes they do,but some of the solid color velvety ones are just too gorgeous to resist. This is a baby picture of Midnight Flame, one of my faves.

Oooh ... see what you mean. It looks like vintage velvet -- the kind with the incredible, rich undertones. I can see why its one of your favorites -- just beautiful.
