I like it ,i know its new but i would like info and zone.Iwant to put it in a half wiskey barrel with two or three plants to compliment it.Thumbs up!!!

Zone info is located the PlantFile. According to the comments, unfortunately this one seems to revert to solid plum like the old standbys.

Do you know if the Variegated Purple Fountain Grass 'Fireworks' is really a perennial? I planted two of them in my container garden last year and they remained vibrant late into the fall. I haven't seen any evidence of them greening up yet, so I am wondering if they will come back again this year. We had an unusually harsh winter on the east coast so I'm not sure if they survived. Thanks!

If you check on the hardiness in the PlantFile link above, it shows:

Hardiness:
USDA Zone 9a: to -6.6 °C (20 °F)
USDA Zone 9b: to -3.8 °C (25 °F)
USDA Zone 10a: to -1.1 °C (30 °F)
USDA Zone 10b: to 1.7 °C (35 °F)
USDA Zone 11: above 4.5 °C (40 °F)

So it is a perennial but not in your zone.
