I traded for some Calathea crotalifera seeds last fall. Does anyone have a picture of the seeds? I may have gotten them mixed up, but I certainly don't have or have ever had anything that looked like the plant I have.
I want to make sure before I get a mad on.

Is this what you're looking for?
That picture is not really clear enough to compare mine with. Thanks tho someone send me a picture and the seeds I have are NOT the Calathea crotalifera seeds.
I'm going to get a mad on now since I traded some very hard to find seeds for what I got.
We should have a trader 'rate and review' forum - I've always said that! I've been in your shoes - got duped - but my seeds were not nearly as rare as I am sure yours are. Sorry for your loss.
I wonder if it's a Crotalaria species? Maybe the person saw "crotalifera" and mixed that up with Crotalaria http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/adv_search.php?searcher%5Bcommon%5D=&searcher%5Bfamily%5D=&searcher%5Bgenus%5D=crotalaria&searcher%5Bspecies%5D=&searcher%5Bcultivar%5D=&searcher%5Bhybridizer%5D=&searcher%5Bgrex%5D=&search_prefs%5Bblank_cultivar%5D=&search_prefs%5Bsort_by%5D=rating&images_prefs=both&Search=Search The common names are also somewhat similar (rattlebox for Crotalaria vs rattlesnake plant for the Calathea)
Well I have grown the rattleshaker calathea for a long long time and have never seen seeds on mine. I mean I know they must set seeds, but, I don;t think they have too many natural pollinators here. I guess the seeds are probably contained in the 'rattle'.
Thanks Ecrane, you may be right as to what it is .. but the person in question had this listed in their have list and it was linked to the Calathea. The two plants are so unalike in looks that I can't believe that they would get it that wrong.
Grrrrr.
So does anyone have any Calathea seeds they like to trade?
